Headed is a journey-overview companion for Apple Maps. Instead of a stream of upcoming turns, you get the big picture: your whole route on one map, exactly where you are on it, how much is left, and what’s nearby — all at a glance.

When you actually need turn-by-turn guidance, Headed hands off to Apple Maps with one tap. It doesn’t try to replace it. Turn-by-turn is Apple Maps’ job. Seeing the whole trip is Headed’s.

What it does

Your entire route on one map, rendered clearly, with live GPS progress as you drive.
Alternate routes to compare before you commit.
Ahead — the next food, restroom, gas, or EV charging ahead of you on your route, without leaving it.
Arrival — parking, food, and services around your destination, so you know where you’re putting the car before you get there.
Weather along the route — a precipitation radar layer, forecasts timed to when you’ll actually arrive, and severe-weather alerts.
A trip summary when you arrive, ready to share.

Privacy, briefly

No account. No login. No tracking, no ads, no analytics. Everything Headed remembers about your trips — recent destinations, saved places, preferences — stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, because there’s no server to upload it to.
